Introduction to "Old" Dafan

Dafan is a roughly Earth-sized planet orbiting a orange G9 star.  It is the second closest planet to the star, and has a year of precisely 360 days.  Dafan has one big moon (Luna), two smaller moons (Kuu and Selene), and possibly two more very small ones.  Luna orbits Dafan in precisely 60 days (1 month).  Selene orbits Luna while Kuu orbits Dafan, both doing so in precisely 10 days (one week).  The night sky has many more bright stars than does Earth. Weather is like Earth’s.  Tides are larger and more complex due to the size and number of moons. In the "Northern" Hemisphere, the Sun and moons rise in the west and set in the east.

Dafan is named after the Creator Goddess, who is called Danu by the Celts and Rillifani by the Nandor (Wood Elves) two very old and close cultures.  She is though to have created all life, and is probably the most powerful Deity to have dealings with the Kindred Races.  Every culture has its own name and view of Her:  for example, Tiamat among Astarans, Au Set ("Isis" in Hestian) among Egyptians, and Freyja among Norse.
