on a hill and serves not only as a community gathering place but also
as a defensive fortification in times of war. As a religious sanctuary,
it also contains temples to all the major deities of the Pelasgian
culture, including the huge Temple of Demeter (the matron Goddess
of Ikon City). As Ikon is a thriving commercial port, temples to Hermes,
