Meet Shawn (MU2), who joins. Jan 25-Feb 7: journey to the Jomon lands, to help in war effort. In Tanabi, meet Daimyo Tomabi and hear of Gnoll activities in old city and necropolis of Salos. Feb 8-21: cross the mountains, guided by yetis. Feb 17: Rikki killed by Ice Toads (one bite takes him from 12 to -16 hit points). Rikki buried in rock cairn. Feb 22: meet Dexios, a local Greek ranger, who becomes party guide. Tells party of the necromancer's activities. Feb 23: enter the Necropolis: Defeat some ghouls. Encounter and properly entreat some ghosts. Encounter animated corpses of Queen Penelope and King Agapententholos II. Feb 24: follow and attack the necromancer on the shore. Embark on necromancer's boat. Party killed at sea by freak wave; become spirits in the Otherworld. In longboat, attacked by Orcish galleys; reach shore, where meet Arand Storm (Dumystor) and Agapententholos II; Arand/Dumystor (R2) joins; walk into the City. Meet and talk with local human spirits. Meet Bova, who becomes guide. Enter the underground harbour of the Citadel: Defeat several Deep Ones; Bova vanquished? Climb up the Mages' Hall; defeat several Gnoll mages. Descend to hall where the Gnolls and the Deep Ones barter; kill most of them. Defeat the necromancer and the Shoosova. Guided out by Kobolds through tunnels under the City. Hrudi uses scroll to Commune with Thor: given instructions. Sail out to sea, avoiding Orcish galleys. Party killed at sea by freak wave; return to the land of the living. Apr 26: Wake up on shore. Apr 26-30: meet with locals, and do patrol work for them. May 1: Summon the dead on the necropolis of Salos to destroy the Gnoll camp. May 2-14: walk back over the mountains. May 9: defeat 2 Hill Giants (in one round Darkmoon kills both Giants [and almost Arand], and breaks her sword); then defeat 2 little Hill Giants. May 14: report back to the Daimyo. Training for Lena, Taro, Shawn. Lena, Geran, and Arand leave the party.
