Nov 13-23: walk from Amphithea to Sanchi, to find teleport site shown on map stored in the Wand of Phantasms. Nov 24: talk with Daimyo Shomu: deduce that site must be in one of two valleys. Nov 24-28: Taro visits home. Nov 29-Dec 5: walk to the two valleys; hire Tenchi (R0) as guide. Dec 3-4: explore abandoned villages in first valley. Dec 5: enter second valley; annoyed by Sprites, especially Darkmoon (whom they think is hilarious when annoyed). Dec 5-8: deal with upper levels of a long-abandoned Dwarven city. Dec 9-17: deal with lower level of the Dwarven city: Dec 9: Rowan killed by Orcs; Take prisoner a human mercenary: Peleus, Cleric to Apollo. Dec 12: defeat last group of Orcs and the Techies; disassemble teleport site; encounter the "thing" in the pool. Dec 13: Peleus (NrC) joins party, having broken his charm to the "thing." Dec 14: finally confront and defeat the "thing", an Aboleth. Dec 18-Jan 7: return to Amphithea, via Sanchi. Peleus leaves party. Training for every member. Rowan buried; magic fan willed to family, potion to party, rest to burial.
