The
Ballad of Sir Grailen the Great
by Khadrous the Magnificent
Sir Grailen
rode into the mountains acting on a whim,
Bravely forth, so full of vim, went brave Sir Grailen!
People followed, formed a team, and named it after him!
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Grailen!
Gloriously
Grailen rode forth to Grailen Hall
For glory, fame and chivalry rode brave Sir Grailen!
On his black steed White Lightning, most glorious of all!
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Grailen!
Against
the evil Twig Blights he fought with all his heart
Pruning down their branches, green-thumbed Sir Grailen!
Upon the brave White Lightning, which he bravely disembarked!
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Grailen!
When ambushèd
in Proussos he bravely stood his ground,
Though kicked out of the city, poor banned Sir Grailen
He swore to avenge Buddy, his friend in combat found
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Grailen!
Into a
dismal ravine Sir Grailen bravely strode,
Though rocks fell and Turvitian charged, stayed brave Sir Grailen!
He bravely fought it back, and it's stuffed-Knill bravely stole!
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Grailen!
In darkened
forests dangerous a giant he did slay
In pitchèd single combat fought brave Sir Grailen!
In battle so victorious though Buddy died that day!
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Grailen!
When Shaza-hai
with bag of goat did come upon some strife,
To save the noble Khri-Halai, charged brave Sir Grailen!
But Grashi intercepted and took his noble life
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Grailen!
And after
death his body was swung about by foes
A weapon and a shield became brave Sir Grailen
Now he is safely buried, but where nobody knows!
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Grailen!
His last
act in his will was still his greatest act by far
A noble selfless deed by dead, dead Sir Grailen
He left his cash to Khadrous, his loyal, faithful bard!
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Grailen!
