WHAT ARE THESE? All-star games are usually single-session one-offs involving characters dead or alive selected by their players based on whatever criteria they see fit. Characters chosen often span a wide range of levels and abilities; sometimes - as with the 2001 game - levels etc. are somehow made more equal, while in other cases they are largely left as they were.

In most cases, things done in an all-star game have no impact in any ongoing campaigns; though there have been (and will be) exceptions.

June 18 1988: Gutezapre's Reunion --- Spearheaded by the Cleric Gutezapre, this was the first attempt to gather a large group of diverse and famous characters in the same place. It was to be a multi-world game, with characters present from Dafan, Telenet, possibly Aerth, and others; however, weeks of preparations went by the wayside when by game time most of the players present had become too inebriated to play. There is, obviously, no further write-up for this game.

April 16 1994: Dafan "D-4" Cybal in Gordieland --- Cybal had met with a foul fate in the Volare game; this hilarious mini-adventure represented part 1 of her recovery. Dafan characters only, other than Cybal. This was also the last-ever session of the original Dafan game. Pink elephants were there too.

July 1994: Telenet "T-10" Tenth Anniversary Game --- Held to commemorate the ten-year anniversary of the start of the Telenet game, this was a rather pedestrian part 2 of the recovery of Cybal and helped scene-set the upcoming end of that campaign. Telenet characters only; levels equalized at 5th.

April 21 2001: All-Star 2001 "A-20" --- A rollicking party of a game held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the beginning of Dafan, and the start of Victoria Rules. The first game to be played featuring characters from multiple worlds at once; also the first to be played on New Dafan, though this would not become apparent for some time. Levels equalized at 1st.

March 6 2004: Riveria "R-500" At the End of the Universe --- Riveria's 500th session saw a strange sequence of events featuring at least one reference to every previous adventure played in that game. It later turned out to be (almost) all an illusion; a great relief to the 8 characters who had managed to get themselves killed - one twice - during the game! Riveria characters only.

April 12 2009: All-Star 2009 "A-2009" Road To Never --- Another roaring example of gonzo adventuring, this multi--world party travelled back in time to before the start of old Dafan to make sure the very first character - Kaylorelle - would be present when needed to start that original party. Some lower-level characters were provided with powerful possessions to level the playing field; levels otherwise left alone.
